Die Wechselwirkungen zwischen Oberfläche, Farbe und Material sind im Textildesign fließend. Wird einer dieser Parameter verändert, so erscheint die gesamte textile Fläche anders.
Innerhalb des Webstücks Tapis werden unterschiedliche Ober- flächen, Farb- und Materialkombinationen ausprobiert und das Gespür für Ästhetik und Konstruktion geschult. In der industriellen Produktion von Textilien, verbleibt meist ein Restposten auf der Garnkone. Mit diesen verschiedenen Baum- wollqualitäten schere ich eine Kette und richte den Webstuhl ein. Die Kooperation mit einem lokalen Gastronomiebetrieb, ermöglicht mir den Schuss partiell mit Rotkohl zu färben.

The interactions between surface, color and material
are fluid in the design of textiles. If one of these parameters is changed, the textile surface appears different.
Within the woven piece, different surfaces, natural colors and material are combined and the sense of textile aesthetics and construction is trained. Usually in the industrial production of textiles, there is left over material on a yarn cone. I worked with that material, that is characterized by different quallities of cotton. The cooperation with a local restaurant allows me to partially dye the weft with red cabbage.
